Free for All Friday

This open-air festival will bring local businesses to the K-State campus and allow for students to explore. Vendors will provide pre-packaged samples, giveaways, discounts, etc. The event allows students the opportunity to learn about local businesses and services of interest, explore ways to get involved in the Manhattan community, and feel more connected and welcomed by the greater Manhattan community.

Given potential social distancing limitations, we have set two separate days for this event to happen - Friday, August 21 and Friday, August 28. When you complete this registration form, you will be able to select which date you prefer or if you are interested in both dates. Space will be limited and we will make all attempts to ensure each registered business is able to participate in at least one event date. If there is rain during the event causing the need to cancel the event, it will not be rescheduled.

Additional information:

  • Each registration will receive one (1) non-garage parking pass, one (1) sanitized 6-ft table and two (2) sanitized folding chairs, one (1) social media post from the Center for Student Involvement.
  • Businesses are welcome to bring their own free-standing pop-up 10ft x 10ft tent. Tents will not be able to be staked into the ground.
  • There will be no electricity access provided, so plan accordingly.
  • Any food samples must be pre-packaged at a commercial facility.
  • Businesses interested in getting student contact information are encouraged to utilize individual slips of paper (or other single use system) in order to ensure no shared surfaces utilized by students. Please also consider single use writing instruments.
  • Giveaways and other promotional materials should be handed directly to students and not left on a table for free access to passers-by. This will help limit the contact of students to shared surfaces.

Interested vendors may sign up to participate via the registration form.
