Walk Your Class Schedule: New Student Services 1 to 4 p.m. Location: K-State Student Union. Students will be available to walk your class schedule with you.
"Walk Your Schedule" for Non-Traditional & Transfer Students 1 to 3 p.m. Location: Caribou Coffee in the K-State Student Union (1st floor). Student ambassadors will walk with incoming transfer and non-traditional students around the campus to locate their classes. Students should bring a printed copy of their class schedule.
Wildcat Welcome Weekend in Aggieville 5 to 10 p.m. Location: Aggieville Aggieville welcomes you to Manhattan with an evening of food and fun. Live band, "Maybe Tomorrow," performing at 6 p.m. in Triangle Park followed by the K-State Marching Band at 8 p.m. on Moro Street. View the full list of events.
Back-to-School: Target Event Transportation pick up starts at 10 pm and runs every 15 minutes Target Store - Transportation provided by Target. Pick up locations are the Frith Community Center, parking lot between Goodnow and Marlatt Halls, and Derby Dining Center between West and Ford Halls. The event is a special shopping event just for college students with activities and promotional items that college students will find of value.
Late Night Breakfast at Old Stadium 11:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. Location: Old Stadium Free pancake and sausage breakfast for first 5,000 K-State students

College of Engineering Welcome Rally 4:30 to 6:15 p.m. Location: Engineering Complex (Rathbone/Fiedler Halls). There will be prizes, games, music, and food. Come to the presentation to receive your free t-shirt. Open to all students new and returning.
2011 K-State Kick Off 6:30 to 8 p.m. Location: Bill Snyder Family Stadium
Free Dinner 6:30 p.m. Location: Bill Snyder Family Stadium East Concourse. Free dinner, fun events, and great prizes while supplies last.
Pep Rally for New & Current Students 7:00 p.m. Location: Bill Snyder Family Stadium Hear from University President Kirk Schulz, Athletic Director John Currie and the K-State Volleyball, Baseball, Men's and Women's Basketball and Football Teams.

Can I Kiss You Time: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Location: Grand Ballroom, K-State Student Union This program is a part of the ongoing commitment to reduce/eliminate sexual violence.
The Multicultural Preview 8 to 9 p.m. Location: Forum Hall, K-State Student Union At this event, our Multicultural Student Organizations will present themselves to first year and transfer students to give insight as to what these organizations do on the campus, why they are prevelant on this campus and in our community, the events they host and contact information if you would like to become a part of there respective organizations. It also serves as a networking opportunity to incoming students giving them the chance to meet and mingle with our returning K-State family.

College of Education Ice Cream Social 1 to 3 p.m. Location: Bluemont Hall Lawn by the Bluemont Bell. Mingle while enjoying some ice cream and pop.
Around the World 1 to 4 p.m. Location: Sidewalk Area Outside of the Fairchild Hall Basement Entrance Meet with International Programs office; enjoy free activities and give-a-ways.
Women of K-State Student Welcome 4 to 5:30 p.m. Location: Forum Hall, K-State Student Union At 4 p.m. a group of women leaders at K-State will have a panel discussion. There will be a reception at 4:30 p.m. with an opportunity for networking and discussing advice and opportunities for the coming school year.
Ag WOW 5 to 7 p.m. Location: Waters Hall Lawn The College of Agriculture welcomes students back to campus with fun and a bit of friendly competition. Students will be able to race through an inflatable obstacle course, challenge each other in a ladder climb, test their basketball shooting skills - or just come and cheer on student leaders as they compete; as well as meet and mingle with faculty and friends.
Campus Bike Tour 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Location: Starting Point is Bosco Student Plaza A brief introduction to bike safety on campus will be followed by an hour ride/tour of campus buildings and bike routes. Receive a FREE campus bike map, and have the opportunity to meet other cyclists on campus! So bring your wheels and come have some fun!

Student Success Day
Wildcat Wellness Wednesday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Location: Bosco Plaza Free water bottles and sunscreen as a part of staying hydrated.
CES Backyard BBQ 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Location: Holtz Hall Lawn. Stop by to enjoy a free lunch and meet your CES advisor.
Financial Refresher Noon to 2 p.m. Location: Lawn between Fairchild Hall and northeast side of Kedzie Free ice pops and a chance to meet your peer counselors and peer advisors from the three financial assistance offices.
Lunchtime Lounge Noon to 1 p.m. Location: Bosco Student Plaza Here from the 2010 OPUS Band Competition winners Catch Amy for a lunchtime lounge in conjunction with the CES BBQ and Healthy Decisions' Wellness Wednesday.
Mid-week Meltdown 3 to 4 p.m. Location: Call Hall Dairy Bar You're mid-way through your first week at K-State, so stop by Call Hall and give us the scoop! Meet other transfer and non-traditional students while sampling a K-State landmark, Purple Pride ice cream! (Or any flavor you choose!)

Involvement Day
Part Time Opportunities Fair (for jobs and volunteering) 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Location: K-State Student Union Ballroom, 2nd Floor. Visit with representatives from campus departments, local businesses and community agencies. Learn about part-time jobs, internships and volunteer opportunities. Bring your student ID and copies of your resume.
Union Expo & Activities Carnival 6 to 8:30 p.m. Location: K-State Student Union. The activities carnival is a great opportunity for students to get more involved with an organization matching their interests. The carnival is also a great opportunities for student organizations to recruit new and excited students to join their organizations.
"New Kids on the Block" Party for Proud 6 to 8:30 p.m. Location: Bosco Student Plaza Come out to Bosco Student Plaza, hang out with the K-State men's basketball team, enjoy some free popcorn and learn about the K-State Proud campaign!
Wildcat Welcome Day 7 to 9:30 p.m. Location: K-State Alumni Center New students are invited to the Alumni Center for free ice cream sundaes and floats. Enter to win a $250 textbook scholarship and other great prizes. You'll also have a chance to learn about getting involved with Wildcats Forever, Student Alumni Board, Homecoming, and more.
"Fast Five" Outdoor Movie 9 p.m. Location: Bosco Student Plaza or Anderson Lawn Enjoy the movie "Fast Five" outdoors.

Friday Fun Day
Off-Campus Bike Tours 7 p.m. Location: Starting point - Bosco Student Plaza. End point - Acoustic Jam Session at Coffman Commons, next to Hale Library. Big Poppies and the KSU Office of Sustainability will host the off-campus rides to popular Manhattan destinations. The tour will begin with a brief introduction to bike safety and "rules of the road." Also, receive FREE snacks and a community biking map! So bring your helmet and wheels to join the fun!
Acoustic Jam Session and Surprise Night 7:30 p.m. Location: Coffman Commons, next to Hale Library. The KSU Office of Sustainability in association with the Take Charge! Challenge will hold an acoustic jam session. It's an open jam session so BRING your instruments and come play with us! Also, meet members of K-State student groups dedicated to environmental, fair trade, and sustainability efforts. Later in the evening a screening of Gasland will be shown for students. A great documentary to start the school year off with!

Empowerment Retreat 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Location: Leadership Studies Building. Jumpstart your semester by participating in the Empowerment Retreat, Saturday, August 27th from 10AM-2PM. With a donation of $10 (lunch is included), you can meet with various organizations that are making a difference in the world like Fair Trade Advocates, The Coalition, Students for Environmental Action, and more. Whether you're new to K-State, or returning for another great semester, you won't want to miss this fulfilling opportunity to meet other non-traditional students at K-State!
Konza Prairie Field Trip 6:30 p.m. Location: Meet at Leadership Studies Amphitheater. . Bring a bottle of water and some snacks. Hang out with Students for Environmental Action and experience one of the Manhattan's best environmental areas--The Konza Prairie. Hike trails and see the sunset from the best vantage point around. If you have a car and are willing to drive, we will be carpooling!
